Hello! My name is Renée. I am an East Coast transplant who has been living in Oregon for 15 years. I am the mother of two spirited, energetic young boys as well as a delightful puppy named Louie. I have a deeply profound love and connection with Mother Nature. Spending time in the forest (trail running, hiking, sitting by a tree) or nearby water (kayaking, swimming, staring into the ocean) brings me much happiness, gratitude and wonder. I am currently completing a 200 hour Yoga Teacher training program. I also enjoy gardening, reading, dancing and seeing live music.

I am a Clinical Social Work Associate. I received a Masters degree from the Social Welfare Program at Stony Brook University in New York. While attending graduate school, I specialized in the area of Families, Youth and Transitions to Adulthood. I took course work in clinical interventions for Children, Youth and Families including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy.

I have spent many years working with youth and families in the non-profit sector as they heal from trauma, intimate partner violence, parenting challenges and navigate systems such as education, child welfare, justice and family court.

As a therapist I use my education and non-profit work experiences as a foundation to continue to support youth, teens and parents. It is my passion to create a space of safety and acceptance where we can work toward new discovery, reconnection and healing. My belief is that as we grow to understand those parts of ourselves that are hurting we will find space for self-compassion, self kindness and trust.
