Meet Our Exceptional Team

As a practitioner with a background in psychology and yoga, I take a personalized and integrative approach to help clients achieve their goals. My therapy sessions combine Eastern philosophies and mindfulness practices with current attachment and systems-oriented therapies. Whether you're looking to heal from past trauma or deepen your yoga practice, I'm here to support you.

I'm committed to helping you deepen your understanding of yourself and your environment, so you can identify areas for growth and change. As a Clinical Social Worker, I believe in the importance of social, cultural, and environmental factors for your mental health and wellbeing. My goal is to build a strong therapeutic relationship with you, and to help you realize your own vision of mental wellness.

I believe that everyone has the capacity to build a fulfilling life through self-acceptance and balance. My therapy approach draws from multiple modalities, including CBT, ACT, mindfulness, narrative therapy, attachment theory, and trauma-focused interventions. If you're struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD, life transitions, career issues, or couples/marriage concerns, we may be a good fit. Let's work together to help you build a life that's worth living.

I integrate movement, relaxation techniques and meditation as tools to further explore your inner self and to promote greater ease in your life. This is totally voluntary and only done with your consent. As with any other physical activity, there is the possibility of injury. I request that you are constantly listening to your body as we move and that you abstain from doing anything that does not feel right. It is always your responsibility to keep you safe.

I believe that therapy is a unique journey for each individual, and I'm here to support you on your path to growth and healing. Together, we'll create a safe and non-judgmental space to work towards your goals. I use a variety of modalities tailored to your needs and desires to help you achieve your therapeutic goals. Let's work together to create positive change in your life.

My therapeutic approach integrates all aspects of my clients' identity, while also considering outside influences that impact their mental well-being. I meet my clients where they are, valuing their unique cultures, associations, intersectionalities, and intergenerational traumas. Let's work together to help you achieve a greater sense of healing and mental well-being.

I work with a range of folks, highlighting queer and non-traditional sexualities and genders, specific to relationship counseling. Everything from desire discrepancies, communication issues, dealing with or deciding to open your relationship, questions around sexuality and gender, trust issues and betrayals, building more compassion, empathy, and understanding, and generally helping you move from a place of feeling stuck in your relationship to feeling hopeful and fulfilled. As a Registered Counselor Associate, I offer my strengths-based, trauma-informed, narrative-centered lens to your experiences and the space we hold together. I hope to co-create a warm, safe, and affirming environment for you to allow yourself to feel deeply, build up hope, and tap into the resilience that you already have. I firmly believe that our bodies, emotions, and minds are inherently connected and that an integral part in healing our emotional side is to work on integrating all parts of ourselves.

I work with adults in their times of reckoning and transition.. I believe that even the most unsettling or confusing thought and behaviors were at one time a reasonable solution. All parts of you are welcome. Nothing is undeserving of attention. We'll invite those uncomfortable thoughts closer even as you may want to push them away. We'll offer acceptance and care to all the parts you, even the ones that are uncomfortable.

I believe that through the counseling process, an individual can acquire coping strategies, positive self-growth, and authentic living. I aspire to create an inviting and comforting environment, devoid of judgements where you can feel open to showing up as your true self. My philosophy towards counseling is always evolving to incorporate various techniques, concepts, and methods. I integrate existential theory, mindfulness techniques, and behavioral therapy approaches such as acceptance and commitment therapy.

As a therapist I use my education and non-profit work experiences as a foundation to continue to support youth, teens and parents. It is my passion to create a space of safety and acceptance where we can work toward new discovery, reconnection and healing. My belief is that as we grow to understand those parts of ourselves that are hurting we will find space for self-compassion, self kindness and trust.

I believe in your inner wisdom and innate power for self-healing. I see myself as a guide to support you on your unique journey through healing, recovery, goal achievement, and personal growth. As a Clinical Mental Health Intern and yogi I view each individual through a holistic lens and utilize various therapeutic modalities to facilitate connection, self-awareness, and transformation. I am trained in Internal Family Systems Therapy and integrate yoga philosophy, movement, conscious breathing, mindfulness, and meditation.

I strive to create a safe space for people with identities differing from my own and encourage discourse and transparency around how our social locations affect our lived experiences. I practice from an anti-oppressive lens and continue to look critically at my own privilege and the power dynamics it can create in relationships.

Therapeutic work is first and foremost about relationships. Once building on trust, we learn where you’d like to see change and what’s getting in the way of your daily life and future goals.

El trabajo terapéutico tiene que ver ante todo con las relaciones. Una vez que nos basamos en la confianza, aprendemos dónde le gustaría ver cambios y qué se interpone en su vida diaria y sus objetivos futuros.

As a student of social work, the lens I bring to therapy is holistic and extends beyond the micro experience. I'm interested in the macro level of ecological systems theory -- how racism, sexism, heteronormativity, xenophobia, ableism, and other institutionalized systems of oppression create destructive impact at the individual level -- and am committed to working together to dismantle these sources of our collective suffering.

I view therapeutic work as a collaborative process, and I am committed to working together to create an inviting, compassionate, and grounded space. I draw from a variety of modalities tailored to your individual needs to support you in setting goals and moving towards meeting them. My work emphasizes the interconnected nature of our identity, personal history, community, and mental health.
